Action Catering is an associated company of Unit Production Vehicles whose primary focus is providing food services to Atlantic Canada's film and television industry.

The owner/operator of Action Catering, Lisa Barry, has a life-long passion for good food and it's service; her career history has included a variety of work situations, many of which Good food - on the go! required a high level of adaptability and a strong commitment to interpersonal skills. With a background as a business owner, chef, restaurant consultant, and high performance back-county caterer, Lisa both understands and welcomes the challenges posed by the high pressure environments of the film and television industry. Action's catering team is professional, approachable and excited to serve the growing industry community in our region.

Action Catering offers a mobile kitchen capable of serving cast and crew on-site in the most demanding locations. In consultation with the production staff, we will analyse the client's particular needs and preferences with regard to menu choices and meal service. Recognizing that time is of the greatest essence, Action's door is always open to the Direction Department to accommodate daily pushes and pulls in the shooting schedule. We emphasize on-set communication and efficient, friendly service in order to facilitate the filming process.
